General Registration Information

Teams wishing to play Open Ringette in the Edmonton and surrounding area must become a NAWRA member team.

To become a NAWRA member team, a team and players must be formally registered under an existing association (e.g. Edmonton Federation) OR be registered directly with NAWRA. Teams must:

  • Be in good standing and have paid all applicable fees to the NAWRA Treasurer.
  • Provide a minimum of 15 ice slots of 1 1/4 hours to the NAWRA Scheduler.
  • All players must be registered before being allowed on the ice.

For teams registering directly with NAWRA:

  • Teams will provide the scheduler with ice and will pay referee fees and Ringette Alberta fees directly to NAWRA.
    • Teams are expected to negotiate directly with the rink to obtain ice.
  • Teams must complete a formal team registration sheet by the date set by the NAWRA Registrar. This sheet will be forwarded to Ringette Alberta.
